Effects of Air Pollution on Children’s Health and Development: a Review of the Evidence.
This report from the World Health Organisation in 2005 states that existing evidence indicates that children’s health is adversely affected by air pollution levels currently experienced in Europe. It provides a summary of the most recent research and assesses the strength of evidence for different health outcomes.
The UK Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants reviewed this report in 2008 and broadly supported the conclusions.
